Alan Moroney

Alan runs the company as its managing director.

He returned to Brighton & Hove after spending several years in Denmark and Sweden. He became a TESOL/TEFL teacher in 1999 and taught in both London and Brighton in adult schools, and every summer in Brighton & Hove for the organizers of the iST/TEAM groups. In 2004, he was invited to help run the summer school, and since then has been Managing Director. In 2007, he started to change the summer school in to a multi-national school, which actually started with one group of 8 Italians together with several hundred Germans. That has since grown to about 100 Italians per summer, as well as a large number of Spanish students, and smaller numbers from Poland, Czech, France, Brazil and many other countries

In 2007, he was in charge of the first Leonardo da Vinci EU groups, and has since specialized in organizing the work placements and logistics of these groups. The number of groups hosted has grown from 2 per year to approximately 15 per year, mainly through recommendations from other schools.
